    Question Lumineers & smoking

i am a smoker and i am wondering will this affect getting veneers or is there any special tooth paste i can use after the procedure is done (two lumineers on my 2 front teeth and also laser whitening to the rest of my teeth to match the

    Wink Lumineers & smoking

    Thank you for your post.

Smoking is associated with gum disease and gum disease can cause gum recession and tooth mobility and tooth drifting. Smoking can also cause tooth staining which can be difficult to remove.

I would recommend that you quit smoking if you are thinking of having Lumineers, because if gum recession occurs and your teeth become mobile and drift, your smile will not look good with or without Lumineers.
