Arrow I don't like the shape and size of my teeth

    Hi

I don’t like the shape and size of my teeth, they don’t seem to match each other and my smile doesn’t look right. I try not to show my teeth when I smile, because I am ashamed of the shape and size of my front teeth.

I’ve been to see the dentist and he said i have two options. I can either have white fillings placed to build up the teeth and make them look better or i can have veneers placed, like false nails.

I’m 36 years old. Bearing mind my young age and that money isn’t an issue what do you recommend is the best long term option?

Default I don't like the shape and size of my teeth

    HI,

    Thank you for your question.

There are many options to improve your smile and make you more confident to smile. Some of the options it seems already has been discussed by your dentist but I will go through them.

If one is not happy with the alignment of their teeth then orthodontic options should be considered to correct them. One of the very popular choices is Invisalign as it does not include metal braces. Orthodontic option is ideal choice when one is happy with the shape and size of the teeth and it is only their alignment that is not good.

If one in addition to teeth not being nicely aligned and in addition to the has the problem of not being happy with the shape and size of the teeth, then may be the options of composite veneers and porcelain veneers should be considered either alone or in combination with some orthodontic treatment. Which one is the best option need to be discussed once your teeth have been clinically assessed and we would be very happy to do that for you.
