Hypoplasia

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am very interested in getting Lumineers however I am unsure as to whether there are other procedures which would enable me to get the look I want and was curious as to whether all options can be explored during the consultation.

Also I have a dental condition, Hypoplasia, which has never affected my life or dental hygiene in any way yet I was wondering whether this may have a bearing in my eligibility to have Lumineers fitted or undergo any other procedure that I may wish to have done.

We need to see you for a consultation to assess the status of your teeth first. Apart from Lumineers, there is also the option of Emax veneers or composite veneers which may be more suitable for your teeth depending on the state of your teeth and your wishes.

Hypoplastic teeth can have veneers placed on them, unless they are very broken down, in which case crowns may be a better choice to protect the tooth from further fracture.

We always recommend a diagnostic trial smile to show you how your teeth could look with any particular treatment before we prep the teeth for veneers/crowns and I think a consultation and a trial smile would be a good idea in your case.
