Alternative to veneers

Hi

I have gaps between my teeth and would like these gaps closed. The gaps are not very wide perhaps one mm or two each. I know that the best solution would be to have Lumineers or dental veneers to close the gaps.

At the moment I am studying at Uni and cant afford six or eight porcelain veneers or Emax veneers. I am hoping that I would be able to afford that once I finish Uni and get a job.

As a temporary solution perhaps for 2-3 years, is there an alternative to veneers? I don't want to have orthodontics, one dentist offered it but I just cant go to Uni with braces on my teeth. Please let me know if I have any alternative options.

If one is not able to afford porcelain veneers, then composite veneers could be a good and affordable option as they cost less than porcelain veneers. there is no doubt that composite veneers are a good and viable alternative option to porcelain veneers. But one has to note that aesthetically they are not as good as porcelain veneers. They may be about 80% as good as porcelain veneers and some cases even more.
