Natural looking veneers

Hi

I have been looking at pictures of dental veneers and I am not sure which system would be better for my teeth. I am essentially looking for natural looking veneers but I don't know which to choose between Lumineers, Emax Veneers or Composite Veneers.

In your opinion, which type of veneer provides the most natural looking veneer out of the three veneer brands mentioned. My teeth are discoloured due to antibiotics that I had as a child and I tried teeth whitening to hide the staining, but it did not work and so now I am looking for veneers to provide me with a natural looking smile.

Thank you for your question.

To advise you which form of porcelain veneers or composite veneers is more suitable for your teeth and will provide the most natural looking veneers is best done after your teeth have been assessed cinically. This is beacuse every case is different. But in generall if you have tetracycline staining porcelain veneers tend to be more effective in covering the stains of the teeth.

One of the advantages we have with Emax veneers is that we use one of the best Labs in the UK that is local to us. So we have the luxury of sending our patients directly to the lab for discussions with the technicians that has proved invaluable in getting fantastic results and some of the most natural looking veneers. With lumineers we do not have this benefit as they are made and produced in USA so all of the assessments are done in UK by the dentist.

Having said that we have fantastic means of communication with the technicians in the USA and never have had any problem in achieving excellent results that patients are very happy with. One should also never forget about the option of trial smile (wax up models) that can be done with both Emax or Lumineer veneers that are very effective in helping the patients and involving them in the looks and appearnce of their veneers and having their inputs.
