    Default Lumineers & Veneers Semi-Permanent?

I've been thinking of getting veneers or Lumineers just to have a prettier, Hollywood smile. During my research I heard that you will have to get them replaced every other year. Is this right? If I was to get veneers or Lumineers, will I have to get them redone in a few years? If so, which one lasts longer? This is a big expense that is coming completely out of my own pocket. I don't think I will be able to afford the maintenance if they have to get replaced so often.

    Thank you for your post.

Lumineers and veneers last on average around 10 years. However there are situations perhaps due to your bite that the veneer/lumineer breaks or debonds earlier than 10 years. If you do have Lumineers and dental veneers you should be prepared for the possibility of having one or more replaced every few years should they fracture. Emax veneers are stronger than Lumineers and I recommend them over Lumineers in cases where there is a higher risk of debonding or fracture. You can do things to reduce this possibility such as wearing a nightguard or being careful not to eat hard foods which can break those veneers/Lumineers.
