    Default 4 Questions About Veneers

    Hey,

I'm very interesting in getting veeners.

    I've got 4 questions:

    1. What's the main difference between
    veeners and lumineers?

    2. Can I remove them without any problems?
(will my teeth will be like before?)

    3. Is it true that it can make look your
    mouth enormous?

    4. I've read the main mistakes people
do is to have veeners that doesn't match
the color of their skin, hence it look TOO
white and unatural. How do you guys prevent
    that?

    Thank you

    All the best

    Thank you for your post.

    1. Lumineers are very thin ceramic veneers which may involve less tooth shaving than traditional feldspathic porcelain veneers.

    2. If no tooth shaving has been carried out before Lumineer placement, then you can have them removed but a small amount of enamel may be accidentally removed when the Lumineers are removed. If tooth shaving has been carried out, then if you remove the Lumineers, you will have to replace them with another type of restoration.

    3. If no tooth shaving has been carried and your teeth are already protruded, then the Lumineers can make your teeth appear thick. This is why you need a consultation for Lumineers to see if your case is suitable for no-prep lumineers or you should have tooth-prep lumineers.

    4. The colour that you choose for your lumineers/veneers is completely your choice. We do give advice but ultimately its your decision. Some patients deliberately opt for whiter veneers and others go for more natural looking veneers.

    Dr Mohen

    Thank you for these precisions!

    Just to clarify:

    1. So luminers are thinner than veneers. That's the only (practical) difference...

    2. If I consult will I have to commit during appointment? Can I come to receive genuine recommendations without being pressured to buy a procedure right on the spot?

TBH I'd love to come for a consultation but don't want to be pressured or manipulated to get a procedure if I don't really need one...

    1. Lumineers are made from a patented ultra-thin porcelain thats only available for lumineers through Denmat. So only Denmat can produce Lumineers.

    2. At our consultations you will be given all the options without pressure on you to choose any particular option.
