    Exclamation £200 veneers interest free

    Hi

I have seen your £200 veneers with interest free option on your website. I probably need six of these veneers but I have a few questions regarding these veneers first.

    1. How quickly can these veneers be made. My dentist tells me that his porcelain veneers take 2 weeks to be made. Do these veneers need two weeks as well?

    2. How do I apply for the interest free option. Do I have to see you first for a consultation, or can I apply for finance beforehand.

    3. How long do these £200 Veneers last and if they break can they be fixed easily?

    Talking £200 veneers interest free

    Dear Samira

    Thank you for your post.

They are different types of veneers that we provide for our patients at Pearl Dental Clinic. One form is porcelain veneers which have different subtypes like Lumineers, Emax veneers or conventional porcelain veneers. The other form is composite veneers known to some people as bonding veneers.

From the price you have mentioned in your post, I think you are asking about the composite veneers which in our practice cost £195 each. Porcelain veneers cost £495 each at Pearl Dental Clinic.

Composite veneers use resine based material (similar to white filling material) and is done directly on the teeth! there is no laboratory work involved, so no need for usual 2 weeks waiting for them to return from labs which is the case with porcelain veneers (longer with lumineers because they are made in California,USA).

Composite veneers are done in one visit in almost all of the cases. Some time review appointments may be needed to optimise them and do the final touches or alter them if a patient wish to change something about them like the shape and contour.

Their bigest advantage is the composite veneers are repairable. If you break them all you need to do is to return for a short appointment and repair and fix it to its original shape and colour. This is not the case with porcelain veneers of any form. If they break there is more involvement because first broken veneer has to removed, new impression to be taken and then lab to remake one and be recemented.

The disadvantage of composite veneer is that it is not always possible to do and may not be a good option in some cases where as porcelain veneer can be a better choice. Also aesthetically composite veneers are not always as good as porcelain veneers. Usually better aesthetics can be achieved with porcelain veneers but it varies from case to case and really it needs to be clinically assessed.

Usually composite or porcelain veneers last from 7-10 years. However in some cases they have lasted up to 20 years or even longer. Composite veneers can stain more easily but usually are improved on by polishing or some touching up. Porcelain veneers sometimes the margins become visible with the natural aging process and recession of the gum.

At Pearl Dental Clinic we have the option of zero percent (0%) finance option for one year. There is a minimum limit of £500 but after that an application can be placed. The form can be down loaded from our Web site, but when you apply you must indicate how much you wish to apply for. Therefore it may be better for patients to be assessed first and once their treatment plan has been formed and the value of the treatment is clear then apply for it. If a successful application is made then treatment can start straight away.
