    Smile Broken tooth veneer

    Hi

I had two veneer fitted two years ago by my dentist in California. He said that they will last around 10 years. Last night whilst I was eating one of the veneer fractured in half and came out. My smile now looks really bad and the tooth thats broken looks brown.

The reason why I had my teeth veneered in the first place was to hide the brown teeth underneath and now that its on show, I would like to have it fixed as soon as possible. Could you please let me know how quickly this broken veneer can be fixed and if anything temporary can be done in the mean time.

    Thank you for your help.

    Thank you for your post.

Porcelain Veneers on average last around 10 years but some fail sooner than ten years and some last longer. Your broken porcelain veneer can be temporarily repaired in the dental chair with a temporary composite veneer and a new porcelain veneer can be constructed by the lab for fit in around 7 days.
