Composite Veneers are direct veneers that are added by cosmetic dentists to your teeth usually in a single visit. They are made from a special aesthetic type of white filling and are usually polished and shaped at the same visit.
Because they are single visit veneers that usually dont need tooth drilling and dont need temporaries or expensive lab fees, their price is therefore less than other types of dental veneers.
I had four composite Veneers put on my front teeth almost four years ago and so far I haven't had any problems. My dentist told me at the time that they need to be replaced every 5 years but i still chose composite veneers cos they were so much cheaper than porcelain veneers.
At the time, i remember reading on the internet that composite veneers only last a maximum of two years. My dentist told me back then that even if they do chip, they can be easily repaired. So it was a no brainer.
