How many veneers do I need?

I have really badly stained teeth which were stained from day one when they came through. Apparantly I was given the wrong antibiotic when I was a baby and my teeth have stained as a result. I would like these teeth improved in colour and also their shape because they are also a bit chipped around the edges as a result of a few sporting accidents. How many veneers do think I will need for a perfect smile and how soon can the treatment begin? I was thinking about getting six veneers but then when I saw your previous patient pictures I thought maybe eight porcelain veneers looked better. Anyway I am open to suggestions.

How many veneers you need depends on the shade and shape of your top teeth and how many teeth you show when you smile and your occlusion. Generally speaking eight porcelain veneers look better than six veneers but sometimes budget restrictions mean that some patients opt for six veneers.
