Lumineers on baby teeth

Hi

I am 29 years old but still have two of my baby teeth at the top front of my mouth. I never had the permanent teeth that should have replaced these baby teeth, so these baby teeth have stayed on. Next to my other teeth, these baby teeth look a bit smaller and discoloured.

I would like Lumineers placed on these two baby teeth to make them look better and a bit bigger. Can Lumineers be placed on baby teeth?

The baby teeth need to be assessed for mobility, root length and vitality. If the remaining baby teeth have very little root length they will not last long and you might be better off looking for an alternative such as an implant or a bridge.

If the baby teeth have got good root length and are not mobile and are vital, Lumineers can be placed on them but care must be taken not to overload them. Alternatively composite veneers can be placed if the long term longevity of these baby teeth is in doubt as a short-medium term solution.
