    Wink I'm embarrassed to smile

    Hello

Could you please help me. My top middle teeth stick inwards and my top second front teeth stick outwards and this makes me so embarrassed to smile. I have seen a couple of dentists who both said that I cant have veneers because of the strange position of my teeth and have recommended that I have braces. However I cant wait that long for my teeth to be fixed and I really would like this embarrassing problem fixed as soon as possible. Is there a type of veneer/lumineer that could work on my teeth? Also How many teeth will need veneers?

It sounds like you have a class 2 div 2 occlusion. The problem with this occlusion is that if the front incisors are very retroclined and the lateral incisors very proclined, its going to be difficult to make these teeth aligned with veneers alone. If such a thing is tried, the front incisors will end up looking very bulky with veneers and the lateral incisors will have to be significantly shaved back potentially jeopardizing their vitality. With such an occlusion you would be better off with Invisalign or braces and accepting the longer treatment time.
