Can you put veneers on my bottom teeth?

My bottom teeth are very stained and each time I see the hygienist and she cleans them, within a few weeks they become stained again and this really irritates me becomes people think that I dont clean my teeth even though I use two different brushes every day. I looked into teeth whitening but its sounds like thats just a temporary solution and I would like to do something that is permanent. Could you put veneers on my bottom teeth to make them look white and clean? If so, how much would it cost for six lower teeth veneers? finally, how long do porcelain veneers last?
