veneers keep coming off should i keep paying for new ones

Hi,
I had a veneer put on my front tooth about a year ago, since then it has come off about 4 times, sometimes i have found it and got it recemented but other times ive had to have a new one made. It has just happened again and as im told these should last for many years, im wondering if i should keep going back and be paying for a new one or the dentist should be doing it for free as a he obviously hasnt done a gd job in the first place. as far as i know i don't grind my teeth at night or any other time.

As I am unaware of all the facts in this case, I cant make judgments as to who should pay for replacement veneers. However broadly speaking if a veneer has come off four times in one year, your bite needs to be assessed to see if there are any excessive contact points on this veneer. If there are any excessive contacts points on this veneer, they need to be removed to protect the veneer.

Also if there is any hint of grinding or clenching at night, you should be fitted with a nightguard to protect your veneer from parafunction.

Speak to your own dentist about your concerns, I am sure he will do what ever it takes to fix this problem definitively.
