embarrassing Smile

Hi

My teeth have always been crooked and over the last few years they have also become very discoloured and my teeth have created a very embarrassing Smile for me which I try to hide when I am going out with people.

When I was a teenager I saw an orthodontist who recommended straightening my teeth but at the time my mum did not think my teeth were that bad but now they are much worst than they were and I regret not straightening my teeth back then.

I am now in my thirties and want a quick fix for my smile and don't wish to wait 12 months for braces to straighten my teeth. I would like to apply for better jobs and I think my embarrassing smile is holding back my career.

How quickly can Emax/Lumineers be made? Which veneer would look better and gives the better smile at the end? Would I be able to have my smile makeover completed within a couple of months?

In terms of better aesthetic result almost the same result can be achieved by Emax or lumineer veneers. It is just sometimes one system may suit some teeth better which need to be assessed clinically before a decision is made on it.

The hole procedure for Emax veneers from start to finish, including a wax up model, can be completed within 2-3 weeks. With Lumineers this will be longer as the wax up and making of the veneers are done in the USA. The hole procedure can be finished within 6-8 weeks. But one has always remember that it is not always possible to correct the alignment of the teeth just by veneers of any kind. Veneers are a very good fast result where there is mild to moderate form of crowding and there is no major overlapping of the teeth or the presence of cross bite.
