Yellow teeth

I would like my teeth whitened as soon as possible because they are looking very yellow and stained. My dentist tells me that the best treatment for yellow teeth is teeth whitening rather than porcelain veneers.

I have read about your zoom whitening and it seems that its probably the best type of whitening for my teeth. But my only concern is that my teeth are very yellow and is the Zoom by itself going to be enough for my yellow teeth?

Could I have the zoom whitening treatment and see how white my teeth are afterwards and then perhaps repeat the Zoom treatment again if my teeth are not very white after the treatment?

Zoom whitening can reduce the staining of yellow teeth. It is an ultraviolet laser whitening procedure and works well with yellowish teeth. On average 8 shades of improvement is achieved with zoom whitening however the whitening results will vary from person to person.

It is generally not advised to repeat the zoom whitening treatment more than once every 2-5 years. If teeth are very yellow then combination whitening is the treatment of choice. This involves having the zoom whitening first which is a 1 visit treatment and then doing 2-4 weeks of home whitening with custom made trays.
