Teeth only whitening at the top

Hi, I'm using your enlighten home gel, and have noticed that the gel is getting great results on the ends of the teeth, ie. the biting half (including the flat bit on top), but the half near the gumline is not getting a change. As I say, the half that is whitening is going very white indeed, but i'm trying also to remove the more yellowy bits near the gumline. My mouth is never sensitive so I put gel in every area of the tray, covering all angles of the tooth. Any ideas?

Thank you for your post. Teeth Whitening only whitens enamel and does not whiten dentine which is yellow in colour. The enamel near the gum line can be very thin compared to the rest of the tooth and in some cases even the dentine is exposed.

So whitening tends to give better results where there is more enamel and not work well in areas that theres is more dentine. The other thing is that sometimes the whitening trays don't cover the tooth areas near the gum line as well as the rest of the tooth, if thats the cases please come in to see us so that we can assess the trays.
