White spots on my teeth Ė is it something Iím eating or just there naturally?
Over the past few months I have noticed some white spots on the surface of my teeth, Iíve never had them before and they arenít causing me any pain. I had my teeth whitened about three months ago and thatís when I saw them appear on the front of my teeth Ė itís more obvious on my upper teeth, top jaw. Could this have something to do with it? Iím worried that the salon used bleach that was too strong or they left it on too long or something.
I Googled it and found that it might be down to a mineral deficieny or it could plaque building up, but I canít tell from just looking what the problem might be. Would more teeth whitening make a difference or is it just something Iím eating? This is really worrying to me because I couldnít get a straight answer from the lady at the salon, she just said it must be something I have naturally and itís not their fault. Iím concerned that itís a symptom of a more serious problem.
