    Unhappy Tooth going grey

I recently noticed my tooth going grey, a few years ago I had an accident and was told this might be the reason why it has gone grey. I was also told because I am not in pain that nothing that can be done. Its a front tooth so as you can imagine it puts me in an akward positon.

I wanted to check if there was anything that could be done, or if I should come in for a consultation?

    Default Tooth going grey

    Hi,

    Thank you for your question.

The greyness of the teeth can be due to trauma. In a lot of cases the teeth usually develop infection but this is not with everycase. You really need a full examination to have full assessment and radiographs taken.

The treatment of your teeth can be many different options depending on the clinical findings. It can be from simple whitening to veneers. The type of whitening system again depends on the clinical finding. It would be ideal to see and assess your case and provideyou with the most suitable and conservative options for treatment.
