I am looking to have laser tooth whitening carried out on my teeth. I have read that laser teeth whitening is more effective than the home whitening systems out there. Can you advise me on which system is likely to be more effective for me?

Thank you for your post. Its difficult for me to say which system will be more effective for you without seeing your teeth first. Generally speaking, laser tooth whitening produces results faster than home whitening but I would say that in my experience, home whitening results seem to last longer than laser tooth whitening.

I think that this is partly due to the tooth dehydration caused by the laser which once reversed by saliva, reduces the effects of the laser tooth whitening procedure. On the other hand home whitening takes more time and requires more patience and therefore is not suitable for clients who want instant results.
