Teeth whitening b1

Hi

My teeth are pretty yellow in shade and I would like them whitened. I had a look at the tooth whitening shade guide on your site and I would like my teeth to be B1 shade based on that.

Can you explain which whitening system I would need to use to achieve a teeth whitening shade b1.

There are a number of different types of tooth whitening systems developed over the years. Each system has its own pros and cons.

First whitening system developed was home whitening system. This system involves wearing whitening trays for few hours a day when trays are filled with whitening gel. It is one the best whitening systems as patients have 100% control over its use and outcome and can do it at their leasure. Disadvantage is that you need to be patient and tolerate the wearing of the trays.
Home whitening system by some people are seen as an inconvenient, uncomfortable, time consuming type of whitening. This is beacuse of some cheap off the shell products in the market that have the universal trays to fit every person. Therfore one size trays for every mouth. At pearl dental clinic trays are tailor made and you don't have complications. You can achieve shade B1 with home whitening alone but takes time.

Alternative system that is quicker than home whitening alone is combination whitening. Here you have the advantage of given your teeth an initial bost with chirside or power whitening system like zoom whitening and then only few nights of home whitening with tailor made trays. Here you only need to wear the trays for few nights to potentiate and stabalise the effect of chairside whitening. Again here you will be able to achieve shade B1 as you have the back of home whitening if needs be.
