    Talking Internal tooth bleaching

    Hello

I have a tooth that was damaged in a riding accident a few years ago. The tooth later started to discolour and my dentist recommended that I have internal tooth bleaching to improve the colour of that tooth.

The internal bleaching worked well and the tooth became white again. However recently the tooth has discoloured again and become quite dark.

I would like to know if there is a way of permanently bleaching a tooth so that it never discolours again? Also, do you provide internal tooth bleaching at Pearl?

    Red face Internal tooth bleaching

    Thank you for your question.

Tooth bleaching eventually fades as time passes on. There is no permanent teeth whitening system that I am aware of although with top-ups its possible to maintain teeth whitening results. You may wish to consider a crown if you have a well root filled but a discoloured tooth.
