Can I have my teeth Whitened when I am sixteen years old?

I am Fifteen years old and I would like my teeth whitened for my Sixteenth birthday. I have yellow teeth and I would like them to be much whiter than they are now. Would you whiten my teeth and if so which system do you recommend for my teeth?

I dont recommend teeth whitening for patients younger than 18 years old. The reason being is that young peoples teeth have very large pulp chambers which is more likely to be traumatized by the teeth whitening procedure.

So it might be better to wait until you are 18 years of age.
