Hello

I am looking to whiten my teeth and would like to do it one visit at the dentist. Can you tell me more about laser teeth whitening and if you think it will work well in my case.

If it helps to know, I am 26 years old and drink a lot of tea and would like my teeth to be as white as possible.

Laser teeth whitening which is also known as chairside or power whitening is a whitening system that treatment is done in one visit on the dental chair. In our practice we use one of the best and most effective forms of it which is known as Zoom advance power, the third generation of Zoom whitening system.

How effective the power whitening and the results achieved will be, is a very unpredictable thing. This is beacuse it varies from person to person. Not everybody has the same staining level and that everybodys teeth are different in thier structure. So there will be different results for different people. But everybody gets some effect and the difficulty is to predict how big an effect it will be. This is something that has to be tried and seen.

However there are back up systems to overcome this uncertainty.

The more stained food and drink you have the shorter the lasting effect of whitening but again there are back up plans.
