    Lightbulb Sedation dentistry

    Hi,

I was wandering if you would kindly tell me a little bit about sedation dentistry. I have never liked the dentist, but i want to have some cosmetic dentistry done to improve my smile.

I have been for a smile consultation and i have been told i need a ‘full mouth rehab’ involving implants, crowns and lumineers. (a lot of money!!!)

A lot of work, which i would frankly rather have whilst I am sedated. Is this possible and what does it involve? Do you offer it?

    Default Sedation dentistry

    Hi,

    Thank you for you question.

From what you have mentioned in your question it seems you are in need of multi disciplinary treatment regimes. In these case what usually take place is that fist you need to stabilize you teeth and restore the teeth that have problem. Therefore completing the cleaning, fillings, root canal treatments, If any needed, and assessment of your bite and its treatment/correction (rehab stage). Once your teeth are fixed and stabilized then we proceed to the next stage of your problem which is to do definitive treatment plan which is the implant and crowning of teeth. The second part of your treatment overlaps with the cosmetic side which comes into action in the later stages of your treatment.

All of these treatments can be done in our clinic and for very nervous patient we are very pleased to offer treatment under sedation.
