Red face Do you use numbing gel?

    Hi

I have a fear of needles in dentistry and most of the time, I cant tolerate getting injections in my mouth. I don't mind the rest of dentistry but I cant stand dental injections. I even don't mind injections on my arms but I almost passed out the last time, the dentist did an injection in my mouth.

I have been doing some research and according to one site, if the dentist uses numbing gel before the injection, the pain of injection would be a lot less. I would like to know if you use numbing gel before you give injections?

Default Do you use numbing gel?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your question.

Yes we do give numbing gel before injections. But we can even do better and use the wand machine after gel application which make dental injections more tolerable.
