    Exclamation Capped tooth hurting

    Hi

I have a tooth capped about two weeks ago and since the cap was fixed onto the tooth, I have been getting random pain from the tooth. Initially the tooth was very sensitive but for the last few days its become very painful and its even throbbing with pain.

I have been back to see my dentist and he says that the tooth might have become inflamed with the tooth cap and now need root canal treatment.

My mum had root canal treatment a few years ago and she was in agony for several days, I would definitely need IV sedation for the root canal. Would you be able to take over my treatment and root fill this tooth under sedation?

    Thumbs up Capped tooth hurting

We can take over your treatment to do it under IV sedation as long as you and your dentist are happy for us to do that. We need to see you first to see if root canal treatment is necessary and then we can begin the treatment.
