    Post Anesthesia

    Hi

I have a wisdom tooth thats really decayed and need to be extracted. For the past 2 years I have put off treatment because I am scare that the procedure is going to hurt me. When ever I have dental injections, the anesthesia does not seem to work very well and even for fillings, I usually feel pain as the dentist is drilling my tooth.

So now for this wisdom tooth, I would like to have IV sedation and stronger anesthesia so that there is no repeat of pain that I get during other dental treatments.

Are there any stronger anesthesia in dentistry that can be used for my wisdom tooth extraction? Will the sedation be able to make me sleepy so that I don't remember anything afterwards?

    Lightbulb Anesthesia

    Hi

The IV sedation will make you more relaxed and we do have stronger anaesthesia that can make your jaw very numb. The combination of the two should be enough to make sure you dont have an unpleasant experience durin the wisdom tooth extraction. You will not remember much after the procedure.
