    Cool Dental Wand

    Hi

I really fear dental injection and have for the past few years avoided having any dental treatment because of my fear of dental injections.

I have heard that you use a dental wand to numb teeth instead of using the normal dental injections. I would like to know firstly if the numbness effect from the dental wand is the same as normal injections?

secondly, will I be able to drive home after having the dental wand treatment or will I need someone to drive me home afterwards? Lastly, I am asthmatic although its well controlled, will I be able to have my dental treatment using the dental wand?

    Thank you for your post.

The numbness effect from the wand is the same as dental injections because the same drug is used, its the drug delivery method that is different.

You will be able to drive home afterwards as the wand has no sedative effect on your body. Being Asthmatic makes no difference to our use of the Wand, we can use the wand for your dental treatment.
