Scared of tooth drilling

Hello

My back tooth needs to be filled and my dentist told me he cant do it because I will need sedation and he only does fillings with injections. I need to be as deeply sedated as possible because I am petrified of tooth drilling and according to my dentist, this tooth will need quite a bit of tooth drilling and it needs a deep filling. Could you tell me if deep sedation is something that you provide and when are you able to do this filling for me.

At Pearl Dental Clinic our Dentists are happy and experienced in carrying out all sorts of Dental treatments under IV sedation, including fillings.

We offer 2 types of IV sedation at the clinic, namely, single drug and multi-drug sedation. Multi-Drug IV sedation is carried out by a Specialist Anaesthetist and is the deepest level of sedation available.

Single-Drug IV sedation by Dentist - £150 per hour
Multi-Drug IV sedation by Specialist Anaesthetist - £240 per hour

If it is a single filling you require, then you should not require more than 1 hour sedation, but this will be confirmed upon initial assessment by our Dentist.

The first step would be to arrange an initial assessment (£25), appointments for which are available 7 days a week between 9 a.m till 9 p.m. After assessment, the appointment for treatment can usually be organised within a couple of days, so there are no long waiting lists.
