I need a root canal done on my canine tooth and my dentist has been planning to do it for the past three weeks, however I am so scared of root canal that I have been putting the treatment off. I know it needs to be done because it hurts every few days but I just cant face having a root canal done. Can I be sedated for root canal treatment and if so, how much will it cost? My own dentist does not do sedation but says he can do with tooth freezing injections alone, I just dont think that I can cope with that. Please help.

Scared of root canal
Unfortunately root canal treatment has a reputation of being associated with pain amongst the public, although in reality most of the time there is no pain at all associated with root canal treatment.
If you wish to have root canal treatment under Iv sedation, this is available at Pearl dental clinic and to arrange this, please call the practice on 0208 547 9997 or 0208 481 0003.Dr Mohsen J. Esfahani BDS (London) MFDS RCS (England)
