    Red face Sedation dentist

    Hi

I would like to have my wisdom teeth removed under IV sedation. My own dentist says that he can do IV sedation but he only uses a midazolam but on your website it says that you also provide deep several drug sedation. Could you tell me if the sedation dentist provides sedation that is as powerful as the deep sedation provided by the anaesthetist. Initially, I wanted to be put fully to sleep for these extractions but due to hospital waiting lists, I decided to have IV sedation but I would like the dentist sedation to be as deep as possible. Please advise.

We provide two types of sedation at Pearl dental clinic, one is a single drug IV sedation provided by a trained dentist and the other is a multi-drug deep IV sedation provided by a specialist anaesthetist.

Which one would be best for you, depends on your level of anxiety and the difficulty/length of time required for the procedure. Please call reception on 0208 547 9997 to book a IV sedation consultation so that we can assess your case and provide you with a workable plan.
