Fear of dental injections

I have a big cavity in my wisdom tooth that I have been aware of for a long time but due to my fear of dental injections, I have been putting off having any treatment for this tooth. Its now reached a point where the tooth is hurting almost everyday and I know I have to do something about it now. I think it needs to be removed, but I don't know if it can be saved or not. However I need to know what you can do to help me with my fear of dental injections. Do you think that I need to be sedated? I can only do weekends, is sedation available on weekends?

IV sedation is available on weekends and if you fear dental injections, we could use IV sedation to sedate you to the point where you could have dental injections without any anxiety.
