Cool Will IV Sedation reduce my Gagging problem?

    Hi

I have a big problem with Gagging when ever I have dental treatment. Even when I have xrays taken of my teeth, I Gag and its annoying because I have no control over it and cant stop it. I have heard that IV sedation reduces gagging, if so, could it help me to have dental treatment without gagging?

Lightbulb Will IV Sedation reduce my Gagging problem?

    Dear Vic

    Thank you for your post.

Yes it is a lot less likely for you to gag when you have dental treatment under IV sedation. Also the local aneasthesia is applied after initiation of IV sedation, your gagging will be almost gone and there will not be any problem having any x-rays taken.

I am very pleased to let you know that we can offer IV sedation at Pearl Dental Clinic which is administered by a specialist anaesthetist inducing deep and wonderful sedation by using combination drugs.
