Hello there
I had a gold tooth fitted about 2 weeks ago and afterwards I noticed that my tooth was very sensitive to hot and cold. And today I have noticed that when I put pressure on my gold tooth it hurts badly down my jaw.
My dentist did this gold tooth because he said that the tooth was root treated last year and he said that it needed protection. He told me though that one of the root canals could not be found and might cause problems in future.
Does the pain coming from the tooth mean that the unfound root canal is now playing up? What is the procedure going forward from here? Would I need to have the new gold tooth removed and the root canal done again or will I lose the tooth now? After spending the money on my gold tooth, I wish to save my tooth if its possible.
