Root canal treatment should not hurt.

A friend of mine scared me silly by telling me that my root canal treatment would be painful. So much so that I asked the dentist to pull my tooth instead but he refused and did the work. It truly did not hurt and I am so glad I kept my tooth.

I am glad you decided to keep your tooth and had a pain free root canal treatment. Root canal treatment carried out under adequate local aneathesia is pain free. For patients who are very nervous or anxious at going to the dentist we do offer dental treatment under sedation.
