Toohache after deep filling
Hello!
My daughter who is 13 has had a deep filling on a back tooth! It did not hurt before the work was done! It now has been 10 days and she has pain when she gets up in the morning! It comes and goes during the day! Sometimes touching it does noy do anything but sometimes the mere touching from the side of the cheek makes it hurt! I have read various posts and understand that sometimes it needs time to settle down but I am worried as she is leaving on Monday for two weeks for the States with her grandma! Is it an urgent problem? Can it wait before being dealt with? Are there any risks of an infection? Is root canal urgent? She will be back for a day after this trip but then we are due to go to my mum abroad for 5 weeks! I am worried and not sure about what to do! Thank you very much for your answers and advice!
