Cost of root canal

Hi

I need to have a root canal on my front tooth before I go on holiday in July. The tooth hurts when I chew on it and my dentist warned me last year that the tooth will probably need a root canal if it starts to ache.

Unfortunately I am working away from my home town at the moment and cant go back to see my own dentist before I go on holiday this year. I would like to know what would be the cost of root canal on a front tooth?

Apart from the root canal cost are there likely to be any other costs involved with the treatment? How quickly are you able to do my root canal treatment? Is it possible to finish the root canal before I go abroad? Is there a chance that I might have some pain after the root canal?

The cost of root canal treatment on a front teeth is between £250-£300 at Pearl Dental Clinic depending on complexity. A root filled tooth often needs to have a crown as well, to protect against fracture and provide a good coronal seal.

I generally wait a few weeks after root canal treatment before I provide patients with a crown in order to establish that a root canal treatment has been successful.

We should be able to complete your root canal before you go on holiday in July as our 24 hour emergency service is available seven days a week. There can sometimes be some pain after root canal treatment and you may have to take painkillers for a few days after root canal treatment but the pain usually settles down after a few days.
