Root canal fees

Hi

My two front teeth were damaged in a fall last summer and my dentist build them up with some fillings at the time. He told me that they might develop problems and need root canals in future. Last week one of them started to throb and for almost three days it was throbbing and none of the painkillers that I was taking helped much. This week, I noticed that the other one is also a bit painful when I press it. So I am worried that they are both going to need root canal. Although I suppose you will need to see them first to decide if thats the case. Could you give me an indication of what sort of fees I would be looking at for the root canal work on these teeth?
