What can be done to stop my tooth from turning black?

Hi

I had root canal treatment about three months ago on my two from the front top tooth and recently the tooth has started to go black. Initially I did not take much notice of it but now its definitely a lot darker than my of my other teeth and looks like its going to turn black in colour. This tooth is very obvious when I smile and I would like to do whatever is needed to stop my tooth from turning black in colour. Is it possible that the root filling underneath has failed? What treatment options are open to me at this point?

After root canal treatment, sometimes a tooth can darken and the only treatments for a tooth in such a situation would be either to do internal tooth whitening or a porcelain veneer or a porcelain crown. My recommended treatment is usually to do a porcelain crown.
