Broken root filled tooth

Hello

I had a tooth root filled about a year ago and the dentist put a filling in that tooth and I have had no problems with that tooth since then.

However last night, as I was eating a piece of chicken, I noticed part of that tooth became loose and now it hurts when I put any pressure on that tooth.

I think the tooth is broken but I think the broken bit is still hanging on to the tooth and I cant even touch it because it hurts so much. What do you recommend should be done with this tooth?

You need to see a dentist immediately. The fractured part of the tooth needs to be removed. If the tooth can be saved, a crown should be placed to prevent tooth fracture. If the fracture is very deep and the tooth can not be restored, then it may need to be removed.
