can I smoke during Invisalign treatment?

Hallo

I smoke around 15-20 cigarettes a day and have been doing so for a good few years. I have tried to quit smoking many times but it has not worked out.

I want to have Invisalign to straighten my teeth and make them whiter at the same time (my teeth are very stained). I want to know if its possible to wear the invisalign invisible braces and smoke at the same time. Could smoking damage the Invisalign braces?
