Can Invisalign correct my cross bite?

Hi

I have a cross bite on my front teeth which looks odd and has prevented me from being able to get any veneers for my top teeth. I have been to see two dentists regarding getting porcelain veneers on my teeth and they have refused saying that my abnormal bite will break the dental veneers.

I would like this cross bite corrected and changed to a normal bite, so that I could get some veneers made for my discoloured top teeth. I don't really want to go down the metal braces route because of aesthetic reasons.

With Invisalign treatment, is it possible to correct my cross bite? If it is possible, how long will the treatment take and how quickly can I begin treatment?

Crossbites can be corrected with invisalign. We would need to see you for an assessment to confirm the crossbite can be corrected. Some crossbites have a skeletal cause and are not corrected with invisalign as jaw surgery is needed. I suggest you come and see us for a consultation and we would be more than happy to take a look.

The average invisalign case takes 1 year to complete but simple cases can be completed in half the time and the more complex cases can take upto 18 months or even longer. We can give you a rough estimate as to how long your treatment will take at the consultation.

The invisalign video takes 1 month to recieve and aligner are manufactured and delivered within 2 weeks after case acceptance. Appointments are usually available within 1 week to take case records and are offered on weekends and evenings.
