Can I switch from metal braces to Invisalign?

Hi

My teeth are very crowded and my dentist referred me to an orthodontist and he has placed metal braces on my teeth. Two months into the treatment my gums feel very swollen and red and bleed a lot and I have a terrible time trying to clean these metal braces. I have decided that I would like to switch to Invisalign so that I can clean my teeth more easily. Is it possible to switch from metal braces to Invisalign in the middle of brace treatment?

It might be possible to switch from metal braces to Invisalign depending on the case. Ask your orthodontist if he can switch to Invisalign. The major benefit of invisalign over fixed braces is that cleaning teeth is much easier with Invisalign due to its removable nature. Invisalign braces are far better than metal braces as they are invisible and easy to use. These braces give you quick results and make your teeth virtually straight. Metal braces are quite annoying as they needs extreme care by the users.
