Invisalign compliance indicators

Hi

My teenage daughter has been told by her orthodontist that she needs to straighten her teeth with metal braces. I know that she will not accept this and will refuse treatment. I have found out now that she also has an option of going for Invisalign but I am worried that she will not wear her Invisalign trays. After looking online I have found that Invisalign has compliance indicators but I am not sure how effective they are. Could you please explain how compliance indicators work and if they are really effective?

Invisalign Compliance Indicators are indication markers on the Invisalign teen aligners that indicate if the teenage patient has been wearing his aligners or not. The Invisalign system is totally reliant on patients wearing the aligners and if they are not worn, the system will not work. So with Invisalign teen its a way of checking that the patients are wearing the aligners.
