hi! I have ten veneers on my top teeth which were placed when i had a crooked tooth...the gum line now looks strange and uneven...is it possible to use invisalign to get my natural teeth aligned so that my bite is better, and then have replecement veneers fitted on the ones that need them?
Also, my teeth appear to be drifting inwards and forwards..I am 37 and have been told that this is natural... but i preferred them how they were ten years ago!! can you get them back to that state and is there a way of keeping them there with say an overnight retainer or something? |

Hello KJ,
Thank you for your post. Yes, it is possible to have invisalign to align your natural teeth and improve your bite. It may also be possible to improve or correct the eneven gum line with invisalign and then make replacement veneers to reconstruct the smile. Invisalign can widen the smile and treat inward drifted teeth. Following orthodontic treatment it is very important to regularly wear a overnight retainer or have a fixed wire retainer. This will ensure the final position of the teeth are maintained. Teeth move throughout life and the only guarantee we can give you is that if retainers are not worn, your teeth will move and the smile effected. You can book a free cosmetic consultation with us or contact the clinic to discuss your needs and treatment goals further.
