Pain with Invisalign Aligners

I had Invisalign aligners fitted last week by my own dentist and since then, one of my teeth aches nearly all the time. I have seen a local emergency dentist and he has recommended keeping the aligners in for 23 hours a day. He says that there is nothing wrong with the tooth that aches and its simply adjusting to Invisalign.

I cant cope with the pain and I am wondering if this pain is going to settle down or is there a problem with my aligner.

there is some pain with the first aligner, but this usually subsides in 2-3 days. it is better if you can see the dentist that fitted your Invisalign, as he is aware of the movements affecting the painful tooth.
