Are Retainers included in the Invisalign quote?

Hi

I saw Dr Esfahani for an Invisalign consultation at Pearl last week. He gave me a quote for full Invisalign treatment and he said the treatment will take about 12 months or so to complete.

I would like to ask him if the retainers at the end of the Invisalign treatment is included in the price quoted? Is the 12 months retention after care recommended by Invisalign included in the Invisalign price quoted?

Following all forms of orthodontic treatment, retainers are needed to maintain the final position of the teeth and prevent relapse. Generally there are two forms of retainers, fixed and removable.

At Pearl the price quoted for invisalign treatment includes the final retainers and all the after care appointments. From time to time the retainers will need replacing due to wear and tear and this reduces the effectiveness of the retainer. Future retainer replacements are charged at the fee quoted by your invisalign dentist.

At Pearl we offer Vivera invisalign retainers. These have shown to be more durable and effective than laboratory made removable plastic retainers like essex retainers. The price quoted at Pearl would normally include Vivera retainers but you should check this with your invisalign dentist as they may have a preferance.
