Is Invisalign painful?

For a few weeks I have been considering Invisalign treatment to straighten my front teeth. I really like the idea of no metal braces. My only reservation is that because of past problems with painful dental work, I am not at all good with pain. Can you tell me if there is any pain involved with Invisalign?

You may have minor discomfort for a few days at the beginning of each new aligner of treatment. This discomfort usually goes away a couple of days after you insert the new Aligner in the series.
